Re: Obama's response about Choice (none / 0)

Jacking off on the sidewalk doesn't mean you own the sidewalk.
The only person who owns a woman's body is the woman.

Is that simple enough for you to understand?

Re: Obama's response about Choice (none / 0)

So when a man ejaculates inside of a women, she then owns his sperm?

Re: Obama's response about Choice (2.00 / 2)

Then I guess the woman should do a better job of keeping a man's sperm out of her body. Men don't have any interest in this? Men are also fathers, brothers, husbands, lovers, grandfathers, etc...  Also, half of all fetuses that are aborted are male. It seems that doesn't count for anything in your world. BTW, my stance on abortion is very close to Obama's. I am all for the morning after pill, sex education, unrestricted rights to first and second-trimester abortions, etc...

MS couldn't agree with you more.

Re: Obama's response about Choice (none / 0)

A male can neither force nor prevent an abortion.  Of course, once a male becomes pregnant, he's free to choose abortion or labor-and-delivery for himself.

It doesn't get much simpler than that.

And that's fair? After all the fetus was created by two people.

Re: Obama's response about Choice (2.00 / 2)

I said nothing about forcing or preventing an abortion. I'm saying that men have a stake in a pregnancy also and that shutting them out of the process completely is not right. Having an opportunity for input doesn't mean forcing anything on anyone.

Re: Obama's response about Choice (none / 0)

Anybody can have input into anything.
A woman is free to accept or reject any opinion she chooses.

When it comes to making DECISIONS, only one person gets to decide about a pregnancy -- the one who carries it.

Re: Obama's response about Choice (none / 0)

So what you are saying is that if a wife comes to her husband and tells him she is getting an abortion that the husband should just shut up and go along with it? He shouldn't let her know what he thinks about the decision?
